?About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Pudong, Shanghai within the Finance Department. The Accounting Clerk reports to the Financial Controller.

As Accounting Clerk, you will be?responsible?for the following duties

1.Maintains computerized sequential log record of all purchase orders issued, completed and outstanding

2.Reviews open purchase order file, checks on past due invoices weekly, investigates and resolves any outstanding issues

3.Obtains original copies of all purchase orders and matches same to related receiving materials

4.?Verifies receipt of all materials listed on invoices and statements received from vendors and suppliers

5. Performs accuracy verification of items received, general ledger account & department charged and invoice extensions

6. Reports deviations from established purchasing/receiving procedures to Assistant Controller and Material Manager

7. Posts and inputs invoice data into accounting software on a daily basis; verifies data is accurate

8. Prepares approved and signed checks for mailing in timely manner (or as required by law)

9.Performs file maintenance activities for purchase orders, receiving documents, signed check copies, computer print outs and other documentation pertaining to accounts payable operations

10. Assists in end of month closing process, including payments, reversals, and accruals

11.?Verifies and processes payment of Travel Agent commissions

12. Assists in the performance of annual review and purge of files

13.?Perform any tasks as assigned by the Management

As Accounting Clerk, we expect?from you:

  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance or Hospitality Management
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
  • Good command of English and Mandarin
  • Strong Level of Proficiency in Excel
  • Working knowledge of computer software to include SUN Systems & All Windows applications

作為會計文員,您將負責以下職責:

  • 維護采購訂單電腦記錄的連續性,掌握已完成和未完成的情況
  • 審核未完成的采購訂單,每周審核一次欠發票的記錄,調查和處理未完成的事項
  • 獲取所有采購訂單的原件并與收貨相關的記錄相匹配
  • 核實供應商的發票和物料清單所列物資已經收到
  • 審核收到的物品,所列總帳賬號,費用分攤的部門和發票等附件, 確保準確無誤
  • 向財務副總監和物資管理經理報告在采購/收貨程序中發現的誤差
  • 每天將發票等數據輸入電腦系統,并核對數據確保準確無誤
  • 及時地(或按規定要求)準備支票以備批準和簽署
  • 完成文件的整理工作,包括采購訂單,收貨記錄,支票簽發紀錄,電腦打印出的報告等其他與應付款有關的文檔
  • 協助月結工作,包括付款,沖帳和預提費用
  • 核實并支付旅行社傭金
  • 協助完成年終審計和文件的清理工作
