?Observe competitor activities and assists in marketing intelligence.

?Sell to new, existing and prospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy, negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business.

?Serve existing customers through management of account bases.

?Sell all facets and products of the hotel.

?Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls, meeting with principals of target market.

?Create both new and repeated business for the hotel by maintaining connections with travel agencies, corporate clients, meeting and exhibition organizers, government, and professional associations within local, domestic, and international markets. Staying connected with planners, corporate accounts, incentive buyers, airlines and wholesalers, through personal sales calls, telephone contacts and written communications.

?Plan and conduct hotel site inspection at least three times per week.
