Shangri-La Yiwu 義烏香格里拉
Shangri-La Yiwu is located in the city's landmark building—the Yiwu World Trade Center, at the heart of the financial and business district. It is a multifunctional urban complex integrating residential, commercial, office, retail, and entertainment spaces. The main tower stands at an impressive height of 215 meters, a playful nod to the Chinese homophone "Ai Yiwu" (Love Yiwu). Facing the Yiwu International Trade City (Phase 1) across the street, Shangri-La is also adjacent to the International Expo Center and Meihu Stadium.
Floors 9 to 38 of Shangri-La Yiwu feature luxurious guest rooms (with a minimum floor area of 48㎡) and comprehensive serviced apartments (with a minimum floor area of 72㎡). Guests can enjoy panoramic views of the Yiwu River and the International Trade City from their windows.

We are currently looking for a?Director of Events Management?to join our team.
?
As a Director of Events Management, we rely on you to:
1. Develops catering account portfolios, sales goals and strategies and ensures alignment of these goals to the hotel’s overall business strategy.
2. Leads the Events Management team in generating and developing leads for local Catering segments: Corporate, Social, Government & Association.
3. Maximize catering revenues through proper control of function space utilization and assigns function space according to guidelines and policy set forth.
4. Maintains close rapport with local government officials, embassy and social celebrities to build up potential client database.
5. Works closely with the DOS, and NSO sales team (where applicable) to maintain the most updated information of city-wide events including exhibitions, conventions, and other major social events that will impact the hotel’s business and share such information with Events Management team regularly.
6. Assists the DOSM in the development and execution of the Marketing Plan part which consists of Events Revenue strategies and tactical actions.

We are looking for someone who:
1. At least 3 years working experience in the same position.
2. Have certain customer accumulation and team spirit.
3. Strong management ability, judgment and decision making ability, interpersonal communication and coordination ability, planning and execution ability.

6. 協助市場銷售總監制定和執行營銷計劃,包括活動、收入策略和戰術行動。

3.具有較強的管理能力、判斷和決策能力、人際溝通協調能力、計劃與執行能力。
