崗位職責/職位描述

工作職責：
Assist the Chief Engineer to carry out his responsibility for the maintenance and repair of the hotel building, grounds, and contents, and for the efficient and safe operation of all plant and equipment and replace him during his absence and to be on call for any problems which occur after normal working hours.
協助總工程師完成如下工作：維護保養酒店建筑，室外地面和設施設備，確保酒店機房和設備安全有效的運轉。在總工休假期間代替總工工作。

1. Ensures that effective control and productivity are maintained, whilst using every means to increase productivity and reduce costs. Periodically assists in reviewing the manning figures, keeping a balance between under and overstuffing so that all team members are fully occupied during their hours on duty, whilst preventing excessive use of overtime or contractors. Completes annual Personnel Performance Evaluations and salary recommendations.
確保有效的工作控制和保持高效率，用各種辦法提高效率和降低費用。定期檢查人員編制，保持適當的編制以便所有員工在工作時間內滿負荷工作，同時減少員工的加班和使用外部承包商。完成員工的年度評估和工資建議。
2. Supervises the implementation of an effective Trouble Report system together with other day to day works of general maintenance and repair to ensure that the building, its contents and its surroundings are at all times in first－class condition throughout. Identifies and arranges for all work necessary to maintain this high standard whether mechanical, electrical or civil, to be completed in good time.
指導和監督實施有效的重大問題報告制度以及日常的維保工作，確保建筑物、設施和周邊環境一直處在非常好的狀態。在適當的時間安排對機械、電氣和裝飾維保，使它們處于良好的工作狀態。
3. Draws up preventative maintenance schedules for every item of mechanical and electrical plant or equipment, including that of other departments such as Laundry, Kitchen, Swimming pool, etc. as well as major plant such as chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air handling units and fans, pumps, automatic control systems, etc.. Incorporates these schedules into the development of a comprehensive preventative maintenance scheme; directs and supervises the work of his assistants and his team and outside contractors in its continuous implementation.
起草每個設備有完整的計劃維保時間，包括其他部門如洗衣房，廚房，游泳池等。還包括電梯、制冷機、鍋爐、冷卻塔、風柜和風扇、泵、自控系統等。把這些維保計劃綜合為完整的維保計劃。指導和監督員工和外部承包商的工作。
4. Ensures that all items of plant and equipment are operated in a safe and efficient manner.
確保所有機房和設備安全有效的運轉。
5. Arranges and negotiates prices for all manufacturers’ / agents’ service contracts in accordance with the requirements of the relevant policy. Coordinates and supervises the work of service contractors to ensure that the terms of all such contracts for major plant and systems designated as critical are fully implemented.
按照有關政策與維保服務商商談報價協調和監督服務商的工作，確保能按合同的條款認真實施。
6. For all works involving outside contractors or consultants, draws up relevant specifications and assesses the quotations obtained by the Purchasing Manager. Confers with successful contractor and follows up closely to ensure that all works are completed in accordance with and adhere to company, local and regional health and safety at work criteria and within the required period.
涉及到外部承包商的所有工程，起草具體的要求并對采購部經理提供的報價進行評估。與中標的承包商商談并跟蹤確保所有工作能夠完成，而且符合公司當地和區域性健康和安全標準。
7. Prepare lists of spare parts and materials required for the continued correct functioning of all items of plant and equipment, ensuring that an adequate stock is maintained thereafter. Organizes and supervises the work of the Engineering Storekeeper, in implementing an efficient stores/ inventory control.
準備所需的備品備件清單，確保有充足的庫存。組織和檢查工程部庫管的工作，實施有效的庫存管理。
8. Assesses the long－term requirements of the hotel, including overhaul / rehabilitation programs or renewal / replacement works, etc.. Advises the Chief Engineer accordingly and draws up comprehensive 4 or 5 year plans.
對酒店的設備大修，重新購買設備等作出長期評估。建議總工程師并起草4到5年的計劃。
9. Completes and provides all regular reports and statistics required by Chief Engineer. Maintains an efficient record / filing system as necessary in his own office.
完成并提供總工程師所需的所有日常報告和報表。副總工辦公室要保持有效的記錄/檔案系統。
10. Maintains contact with local authorities such as Electricity Supply Company, Water Supply Authority, Gas Company, to ensure that all requirements are being complied with and that assistance or advice will be readily available whenever required.
保持與供電部門，供水部門,燃氣公司等聯系，確保所有要求備案一旦需要應提出一些具有支持性的建議。
11. Has frequent meetings with other Department Heads to review the current performance of their equipment and in the case of the Purchasing Manager to review the current status of all Purchase Requests and Orders, particularly those relating to importations, and ensure that all items are being progressed as necessary.
和其他部門經理經常開會來回顧各部門設備的運轉狀況，與采購經理溝通采購單的進展以確保工程部的采購物品能及時到貨。
12. Recommends and organizes where necessary the training and development of any member of the department with potential for advancement, either in－house or with another hotel, or with outside firms. Recommend where necessary the transferring, promotion, discipline or dismissal of team members.
如有必要建議和組織有發展潛力的員工在酒店內部交叉培訓或到其他酒店、外部機構培訓。建議員工的調動，提升，處分或開除。
13. Makes frequent inspection tours, to check condition of building and equipment, and to monitor work progress generally.
對酒店建筑、設備經常性檢查，監督工作的進展情況。
14. With the assistance of the Human Resource Manager and Chief Engineer, select the Engineers for employment within the department.
在人事部經理和總工程師的協助下，招聘本部門的員工。
15. The management reserves the right to change / extend this job description if necessary at any point of time during her / his employment.
如有必要，該部門有權更改或補充該職位描述。
16. Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
完成任何其他合理的職責和被指派的職責。

任職資格：
Required Qualifications必要的資歷要求：
1. Should have at least 10 years experience in hotel/building services or other appropriate Engineering field.
應至少具有十年酒店的工作經驗或其他有關的工程領域。
2. Should have at least 5 years duty engineer position or 2 years assistant chief engineer position above 5 stars hotel.
五星級以上酒店擔任值班工程師五年以上或副總工師二年以上。

Preferred Qualifications 更高的資歷要求：

1. Over junior college graduated.
大專以上學歷
2. Have some extent English reading ability.
有一定英語閱讀能力。
