    Overview:???

    The role of Revenue Manager is a person who oversees / champions the management of the resorts’ revenue, which includes strategic thinking, continual analysis, decision making skills, ability to manage relationships and effective channel management. Revenue Manager helps to ensure the revenue processes, systems and Revenue Team are all working together, providing input and executing their responsibilities correctly and efficiently?and provides support and advice in strategic planning and overall business goals relating to the Revenue achievement. To be successful and a great value to the company they need to be an initiative, proactive person with great interpersonal skills.

    Responsibilities:

    ?? Setting strategies based on demand; consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service

    ?? Looking for revenue opportunities and maximizing profitability. Maximizes net room revenue contribution through a thorough understanding of all booking channels and management of inventory and rate therein

    ?? Continuously analyzes changing channel distribution models and the impact on consumer booking trends

    ?? Determines effective and engaging rate offers which are then offered to the right customer in the right channel

    ?? Communicating RevPAR stats

    ?? Responsible for configuration, forecast validation and daily interaction with system and the decisions produced

    ?? Operates resort and corporate pricing strategies through definition and management of rate levels, stay restrictions and other tactics, which are congruent with demand factors and which are managed through all distribution channels

    ?? Oversees Reservation process and assist in ensuring inventory is appropriately allocated, blocked and managed on-property

    ?? Monitors transient and group pace in order to determine pricing and availability controls for all reservation distribution sources. Discusses changes to, and implements those changes in distribution plan accordingly

    ?? Completes all rooms and revenue forecasting to accurately project unconstrained demand

    ?? Plays an active role in the Strategic Planning, Marketing Plan and budgeting processes

    ?? Interaction with other managers / departments

    ?? Prepares timely revenue summaries as required by the RM Team

    ?? Plays an active role in continuing to build revenue management bench-strength, by identifying and mentoring interested candidates

    ?? Strategic thinking combined with the proven ability to move strategy to action are foremost attributes

    ?? Comfortable in discussion forums; able to represent ideas succinctly and convincingly.

    ?? Proven experience in analysis and problem solving required.

    ?? Team building skills and proven track record is essential.

    ?? Self-study and independent work ethics are required.

    ?? Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints is key to the success of this individual.

    ?? Strong experience or adaptable training in the use of automated systems, PCs and office products, e.g. Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.

    ?? Feel comfortable in a dynamic and fast changing working environment

    ?? Good at seasonal packages and Rich content packages

    ?? Familiar with Revenue management system and know how to leverage them.? Well known about PMS & RMS

    ?? Minimum of 5 years related experience.

    Education/Certifications:

    ?? College degree in business or hospitality background with international living or working experience.
