THE TEAM

You will be part of the Housekeeping team within the Rooms Division, working closely with colleagues across Housekeeping,?Floor, Public Area,?Laundry?and?Linen & Uniform. This role reports directly to the Director of Housekeeping and plays a key leadership role in supporting Floor Manager, Laundry and Public Area teams to deliver consistently exceptional standards throughout the hotel.

YOUR ROLE

As Assistant Director of Housekeeping, you will support the Director of Housekeeping in maintaining an impeccably clean, well?organized, and guest?ready environment across the entire property. You will help drive operational excellence by ensuring departmental standards, policies, and procedures are consistently upheld, while coaching and guiding the housekeeping team to perform at the highest level. Acting as the Director of Housekeeping in their absence, you will be a trusted leader and key stakeholder in daily operations, VIP readiness, and cross?department collaboration.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

-?Support the Director of Housekeeping in maintaining superior cleanliness, order, and presentation across guestrooms and public areas.

-?Ensure all housekeeping policies, procedures, and service standards are consistently understood and applied.

-?Act as Director of Housekeeping in their absence, executing responsibilities in strict accordance with established instructions and procedures.

-?Oversee daily operations including inspections, staffing deployment, VIP room readiness, reporting, and key control.

-?Train, guide, and develop supervisory and frontline housekeeping associates, fostering service excellence and teamwork.

-?Coordinate closely with laundry and supply functions to ensure adequate linen, amenities, and inventory support daily operations.

COULD THIS BE YOU?

-?You bring at least two years of supervisory or management experience within the Housekeeping department of a luxury or ultra?luxury hotel.

-?You have a strong eye for detail and can balance accuracy, speed, and operational priorities effectively.

-?You remain calm under pressure and use sound judgment to resolve issues and make informed decisions.

-?You are comfortable leading, training, and organizing the work of others while working with minimal supervision.

-?You communicate clearly and professionally, with the ability to read and interpret operational reports and data.

-?You are fluent in spoken and written English and demonstrate discretion in handling guest and hotel information.
