THE TEAM

You will be part of the Food & Beverage team, working closely with culinary and front-of-house colleagues to deliver refined dining experiences. This role reports directly to the?Outlet Manager?and the?Hotel Sommelier, and collaborates with?outlet?leaders, bartenders,?service associates?to uphold Rosewood’s service standards.

YOUR ROLE

As?Junior?Sommelier, you play a vital role in shaping the wine journey for our guests through expert curation, thoughtful recommendations, and genuine connection. You will ensure that the wine program complements the culinary vision while driving revenue, maintaining cellar integrity, and elevating service knowledge across the team. Through your expertise and presence on the floor, you contribute directly to guest satisfaction, brand distinction, and the overall success of Rosewood Hotel Group.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

-?Recommend, promote, and sell wines and beverages that enhance the guests’?dining experience

-?Collaborate with the kitchen team to create appropriate wine pairings for menu offerings

-?Maintain and update wine and beverage lists, ensuring accurate pricing and proactive sales of wines at critical age

-?Manage cellar operations, including inventory control, stock requisitions, and variance management

-?Deliver wine education and training to front-of-house colleagues, strengthening service confidence and consistency

-?Engage with guests to build lasting relationships, handle feedback professionally, and support revenue objectives

COULD THIS BE YOU?

-?You bring a minimum of?two?years’ experience in Food & Beverage in a similar role within a reputable hotel or fine-dining environment

-?You have?enough?wine knowledge and a passion for delivering elevated beverage experiences

-?You are guest-driven, personable, and confident engaging with guests on the restaurant floor

-?You are a reliable team player who communicates effectively and supports a positive working culture

-?You are adaptable, open to feedback, and eager to continuously learn and develop

-?You are proficient in spoken and written English and present yourself with professionalism in line with Rosewood standards
